Course Outcomes

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

CO1Explain linear data structures (Lists, Stacks, Queues) and their array and linked implementations with asymptotic runtime complexity.K2
CO2Apply and implement balanced non-linear data structures (AVL, Splay, B-Trees) and priority queues to solve hierarchical data problems.K3
CO3Construct and apply efficient sorting algorithms (such as Quick Sort, Merge Sort, and Heap Sort) based on time and space metrics.K3
CO4Apply graph-based solutions using topological sorting, shortest-path algorithms, and minimum spanning trees for networks.K3
CO5Apply advanced tree searching techniques and hashing strategies for efficient data retrieval.K3
