| 5. | Sustainable and Functional Textile Chemistry: Environmental issues in textile industry,Green chemistry in textile processing, biodegradable dyes and natural dyes, enzyme-based processes (amylases, cellulases, proteases), antimicrobial textiles (silver nanoparticles, chitosan, zinc oxide), phase-change materials in textiles, e-textiles chemistry, recycling of textile waste, circular economy in textile industry | 20% |
Teaching-Learning Methodology
Topics are taught through interactive lectures using blackboard and ICT tools. Laboratory demonstrations on dyeing trials, fiber identification, and finishing experiments are included. Case studies on sustainable textile production and chemical safety (REACH compliance) supplement classroom teaching.
