Course Objectives
- To impart knowledge about quality control and quality assurance in chemical industries.
- To teach control charts and total quality management.
- To provide conceptual knowledge of aspects like QC tests, documentation, quality certifications, ISO and SQC
Course Outcomes
On completion of this course, the students will be able to:
- Appreciate the importance of quality assurance and control in the chemical industry.
- Understand the role of ISO for process plants.
- Learn the manufacturing operations and controls of process plants.
- Understand the importance of documentation and the scope of quality certifications applicable to industries.
